I've been thinking about firing up a blog for some time now, and on impulse finally leapt in. Things are bound to be slow to start around here for some time while I attempt to figure out what exactly I want to focus on. In the meantime I'm going to be all over the map while I gain my web legs.

Proceed with caution. At some point you will discover statcounter and watch your traffic.

Thanks for the wisdom. The plan is to post on weekends, or maybe even bi-weekly. As it stands now, I already have my hands full with the family, but there are things I feel I need to say. I want to increase my writing skills, after all, if I can bang out some reasonable essays, I might be able to work up the nerve for a novel.
